I received my first royalties check from my publisher for a whopping $56.25! Next stop, the New York Times Bestseller List! But seriously, money means nothing. I only hope and pray that many people read my books, and focus not so much on my stories, but what God did for me through his loving mercy and grace, which he is waiting to pour into us all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this memoir, especially the fact that I had the privilege to know many of the characters mentioned. Growing up in Commack during this period was an incredible experience with a lot of lessons learned. Things that you could never change that were all included with the coming of age.
